Gigi Stone (born October 15) is an American television correspondent and anchor, currently working for Bloomberg TV.

Stone grew up in Manhattan, where she went to the Nightingale-Bamford School and learned to speak Portuguese, French and Spanish. She received a Master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where she won the John M. Patterson Prize for Best Television documentary. She volunteered in a Peace Corps-style program in South America , and is a graduate of the Outward Bound training school [1]
Stone's first major job was as a general assignment news reporter for WWAY-TV-3, the ABC affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she trained as a volunteer firefighter and battled a blaze as part of a news series. For another story, she assisted in water rescue training at the Cherry Point marine base.[1]
Stone later worked at the New York 1 network, as an anchor and correspondent.
Stone reported business news for Business Week TV and NewsOne, ABC News' affiliate news service. At Business Week TV, she wrote, produced and reported live daily business updates for WABC-TV and BusinessWeek: Money Talks, a national consumer affairs finance program for ABC affiliates.
Stone has worked as a correspondent and anchor at ABC News. She reports for World News Tonight, Nightline, and Good Morning America, among others. She also works as an anchor for World News Now, ABC's overnight news program, as well as ABC News Now, the network's 24-hour news channel.
Stone has covered jailhouse lawyers, Human Growth Hormone treatments[2],, Muslims in the US military, and public school teachers' pay.[3] She has anchored and reported live, breaking news events including the death of Pope John Paul II and Hurricane Katrina. She has reported, written and produced investigative series on pension shortfalls, health insurance fraud and predatory lending practices.
Stone has been a correspondent on Bloomberg Television since June 2009. She has anchored and reported live from the scene of major breaking financial news events. They include Bernie Madoff's trial, various insider trading cases, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and the Toyota recalls.
